Yes, even if you don’t have the required experience, you can still take the CGRC exam to become an Associate of (ISC)2. Post that, you’ll have 3 years to earn the relevant experience and become fully certified.

This certification is valid for three years. To keep it relevant, you'll have to meet ISC2's Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements and renewal criteria.

  • Earn and post at least 20 CPE credits per year
  • Pay the yearly maintenance CGRC fee
